No job is too big or small. From choosing your new floor to installation by our attentive crews to finding the right maintenance products we are here from start to finish.

Origin Story

Delta Carpets was started in Ladner by Albert Beeksma in 1967. Its beginnings as a “one-man business” were a home-based operation with a van full of samples as a showroom, and a dream to offer the best service and products to our community and beyond.

As the business grew, a storefront was needed, and Delta Carpets moved from “home” to a shop on Delta Street that was formerly the Ladner Pool Hall. In 1971 we relocated to the old Ladner Theatre building at the corner of Haviland and 48th Avenue. At this point Elly, Albert’s wife joined him in the store followed by their son Trevor and daughter Yvonne.

Our staff grew to include Stephanie, Trevor’s wife, as well as Yvonne’s son, Michael and her husband, Shane. Herman, Ron and Helmut have been with us for a combined total of 117 years, along with our other “adopted” installers.

We still strive to give the best service and products, the same as Albert did when Delta Carpets was started. We are proud to be family-owned and operated and have continued to serve the community we love for over 58 years.
